We are currently seeking young and dynamic Power Distribution Engineers to oversee the operations and maintenance of our power distribution systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a reliable, safe, and efficient power supply throughout our service area, maintain high network performance standards, and minimize downtime through proactive maintenance strategies. Your responsibilities will include: Operation Management: You will be in charge of the day-to-day operation of 33kV, 11kV, and 0.415kV power distribution networks to ensure consistent and reliable power delivery. Maintenance Activities: You will be responsible for the breakdown and systematic maintenance of 33kV and 11kV overhead lines, as well as complete maintenance of 33kV and 11kV overhead Sub Stations. Additionally, you will be involved in the installation and maintenance of DTR in 11kV and 0.415kV DTR. Troubleshooting: You will diagnose and resolve faults in electrical equipment within the power distribution network, including bifurcation of feeders at various voltage levels and replacement of power transformers. System Monitoring: Utilize SCADA, distribution management systems (DMS), and other tools to monitor system performance, respond to faults, and address disruptions promptly. Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all operations and maintenance activities adhere to safety standards, regulations, and company policies. Reporting: Maintain records of operations and maintenance activities, equipment logs, and incident reports. Generate performance and reliability reports for management review. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive system improvements and resolve any issues that may arise. To be successful in this role, you need to have the following qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering - 2-6 years of experience in the Operation & Maintenance of Power Distribution systems - Strong knowledge of power distribution electrical systems, protection schemes, SCADA systems, and related technologies - Experience with power distribution equipment such as transformers, breakers, and switchgear - Proficiency in SCADA systems and fault detection tools - Familiarity with electrical safety codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills If you meet these qualifications and are ready to take on a challenging role in the power distribution field, we encourage you to apply.
