As a member of the dynamic team at Lekha Wireless, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge wireless communication technology products and solutions. Your responsibilities will include working on the design and implementation of current and next-generation hardware for tactical communication systems, 4G, and 5G technologies. You will play a key role in building mixed signal boards that are essential components of communication systems, while also providing technical leadership in complex design processes. To be successful in this role, you should hold a graduate or post-graduate degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related field, coupled with 2 to 7 years of experience in digital and mixed signal design. You must demonstrate proficiency in digital electronics and have hands-on experience in building intricate boards from inception to deployment. Additionally, a strong understanding of hardware chip and peripheral architectures, including processors, DSPs, FPGAs, radio transceivers, and codes, is essential for this position. Furthermore, you should possess expertise in signal processing, networking, and connectivity peripherals, as well as schematic entry and CAD tools for review purposes. Familiarity with general lab equipment, CAD design flows, manufacturing procedures, assembly techniques, and integration testing will be advantageous. Effective communication skills are crucial as you will be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate design and debugging processes clearly. While not mandatory, it would be beneficial to have a deep understanding of FPGA and DSP architectures, as well as expertise in signal integrity for boards involving Gigabit SERDES lanes and protocols. As the Staff Embedded Software Engineer at Olympus, you will focus on the technical execution of embedded software development projects. Reporting to the Associate Director, your role will emphasize technical leadership while also maintaining some project management responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) to drive the design, development, and troubleshooting of embedded software systems for medical devices. Your key responsibilities will include leading hands-on development and execution of embedded software, overseeing the design, development, and deployment of embedded software and firmware for medical devices, ensuring seamless integration of embedded systems with hardware components, sensors, user interfaces, and communication protocols, as well as providing technical mentorship to junior engineers and vendor partners to align technical decisions with Olympus" long-term innovation strategies. In addition to project management tasks such as leading technical tracking of project progress, developing detailed project plans, coordinating with PMO teams, and troubleshooting technical challenges, you will also focus on practice development by establishing advanced testing and validation protocols, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with global regulatory and safety standards.
