As the Design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity, you will be responsible for completing assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Your main impact will be evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures for engineering assignments. Additionally, you will provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities, prepare project documentation, and assist in proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs. You will support Contract Managers in issuing claims, provide quality solutions as per customer requirements within budget and contract, ensure adherence to safety standards, and mitigate potential risks. Creating work plans, cost estimates, and ensuring quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost will also be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with other functions to improve work plan effectiveness, complete risk and opportunity assessments, and report any issues to management along with recommendations for resolution. Furthermore, you will assist customers on technical issues, interact with contracts, contractors, and other staff, and collaborate with the Supply Chain function to communicate technical requirements to potential suppliers. Your background should include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering with 8-12 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in system analysis, network study, data center design, and various calculations related to substation design is required. Additionally, you should be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, CDEG, and Microsoft Office, with proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
