Job Locations: Vizag ( Visakhapatnam) No. of Positions: 01 Reason to be: Accomplishes project objectives by budgeting, planning, scheduling and evaluating Engineering & Projects activities. Accountable for all statutory approval with respect to Engineering & Project and project department. Ensure production and Utility equipment operates efficiently by supervising and performing equipment Maintenance on continuous basis. Function size: Responsible for handling of Mechanical & Utilities activities and maintenance activities of overall plant. Ensure the implementation of preventative maintenance program as per the master plan. Ensure the implementation of calibration of instruments as per calibration master plan. Up keeping of all equipment and machinery in working state in the plant. Ensure and implement the Safety, Health & Environmental standards as per plant requirement. Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are to be met. Generation and implementation of energy conservation & energy saving ideas in the plant. Ensuring all the documents are up to date as per the current Good Manufacturing Practices. 1. Analyzes equipment failures, determines cause(s) and makes necessary adjustments to avoid the recurrence of failures. Seek new technologies for lowering the overall cost of manufacturing. 2. responsible for leading the engineering team (Mechanical & Utilities), overseeing preventive and breakdown maintenance operations for a range of equipment including Reactors , Centrifuges , ANFDs and all powder process equipemnts 3. Responsible for Operation and Maintenance of Utilities (PW, WFI, Chilled Water, Steam, Compressed Air, and Nitrogen) for all blocks. 4. Ensuring uninterrupted availability of Utilities for processes. 5. Identification of critical spares and its maintenance. 6. Responsible for implementation of Process and Utility equipment preventive maintenance as per the schedule. 7. Development maintenance policies and strategies to deliver a quality and safety compliance of the works undertaken. 8. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. 9. Ensure resource availability and allocation. 10. Coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope 11. Implementation of cGMP controlled operations and Good engineering practices in plant. 12. Ensure facilities, including buildings and grounds, are maintained as per standards. 13. Monitoring and delivery of Key performance indicators (KPIs) within the section. 14. Implement of energy efficient programs and systems to control energy consumption in order to: 15. Avoid unnecessary expenditure. 16. Improve cost-effectiveness, productivity and working conditions 17. Preparing the yearly budget of revenue expenses, engineering capital and regularly reviewing accordance with budget. 18. Prepare and participate of executing the Installation of new equipment as well as the Installation Qualification (IQ) & Operation Qualifications (OQ) for all machines in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test). 19. Responsibility to bring innovative methods and new technologies and to use them to make for ease operation and cost effective. 20. Ensure the safety and housekeeping as per the company polices and procedure. 21. Inspire all employees working within the area through the provision of a stimulating and challenging environment that recognizes achievements, promotes effective communications and develops individuals to achieve their maximum level of performance. 22. Implementation of 5s, Standard Work and maintaining Good Engineering Practices in all aspects of installations and operations. 23. Effective monitoring and implementation of Energy conservation activities and building the team towards the energy conservation. 24. Coordination with all the departments for implementation of modification activities. 25. Continually develop leadership skills and motivate & train the team members towards Quality aspects. 26. Support for ISO-14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001 and ISO 55001 requirements. In absence of Reporting AGM, will attend his duties for smooth operation of the activities.
