The selected candidate will be involved in the design and delivery of underground MV/LV electrical distribution and external lighting systems for major infrastructure projects in the Middle East and Africa . This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a globally recognized consultancy delivering high-impact utility projects. Key Responsibilities: Design and review of underground LV & MV power distribution networks. Prepare external lighting designs and perform equipment sizing using Dialux, ETAP . Develop and check design deliverables for pump station electrical systems . Review vendor drawings and coordinate with contractors and internal teams. Ensure compliance with regional electrical standards (DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, IEC, IEEE). Collaborate with international teams and support occasional on-site visits (Middle East/Africa). Deliver high-quality work on time, maintaining strict quality standards. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Experience: 12–15 years in electrical distribution (dry utilities) design. Mandatory: Experience working on Middle East infrastructure projects . Technical Skills: Underground MV/LV distribution systems Lighting design using Dialux Equipment sizing, cable calculation, and vendor drawing review Electrical design for pump stations Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ETAP, Dialux Strong communication and coordination skills. Research and follow jurisdictional requirements unique to each project. Review and draft rough sketches, drawings, etc. as provided by the Project Engineer. Determine scale and perform mathematical calculations that require knowledge of geometry, algebra, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions. Follow BIM and CAD standards. Create, edit, and label alignments, Civil 3D parcels, and corridors. Create, use, and edit Civil 3D labels. Create feature lines and surfaces. Manage, data reference, label and interact with a Civil 3D surface. Perform roadway design, including creating corridors, subassemblies, road FG, contour grading, and surface cleanup/manipulation through Tin/points. Use Civil 3D to design plan and profiles of utilities, including using and creating pipe networks, editing and changing parts and styles, catch basin sizing/spacing and minimum cover, manhole sizing/spacing and minimum cover, hydrant spacing, and creating waterlines in profile with deflection and exaggeration, per jurisdictional requirements.
