Your primary focus will be on ensuring environment, health, and safety at the workplace, achieving production targets, reducing operational downtime, and maintaining safe working conditions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Ensure environment, health, and safety at the workplace with zero harm, zero discharge, and zero waste. - Monitor processes to achieve shift production targets and grade-wise production. - Identify new activities for Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Aspect/Impact assessment. - Manage daily shift work, safety, and environmental initiatives. - Troubleshoot process variations effectively. - Coordinate with engineers and other shift personnel for the smooth functioning of blast furnaces. - Maintain good housekeeping and ensure a safe working environment. **Qualifications Required:** - B.E/B. Tech in Metallurgy. In addition, the desired attributes for this role include knowledge in Dry GCP/HBS, PCM operation, Loco/Ladle movement, corrective actions for parameter deviations, and reduction of consumable wastage.
