Job description Accurately prepare and dispense veterinary prescriptions. Advise veterinarians and pet owners on proper medication use, dosage, and side effects. Manage inventory, including procurement, storage, and disposal of veterinary drugs. Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations governing veterinary pharmaceuticals. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and controlled substances. Provide pharmaceutical support during surgeries and emergency treatments. Conduct periodic audits to ensure medication safety and efficacy. Stay updated with advancements in veterinary pharmacology.
