Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Drone Operator and Video Editor to support our construction projects by capturing aerial footage of work progress and editing visual content for project documentation, client reporting, and internal/external communication. The candidate must have technical proficiency in drone operations and a creative eye for video editing tailored to the construction industry. Key Responsibilities: Drone Operation (Construction Site): Operate drones to capture aerial photos and videos of construction sites for progress tracking, inspections, and safety audits. Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to plan regular drone surveys. Conduct drone pre-flight checks and perform routine maintenance. Create top-view and 360-degree flyover videos for management/client review. Video Editing & Documentation: Edit aerial and ground footage into structured progress videos, timelapse updates, and visual reports. Add overlays such as progress milestones, text annotations, date stamps, and site layouts to video. Create promotional or project completion videos for client presentations or marketing. Maintain an organized video archive for all project sites. Sync drone visuals with AutoCAD/architectural drawings as needed. Requirements: Proven experience in drone operation with a valid DGCA license (or willingness to obtain). Proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.). Knowledge of aerial survey patterns and video documentation specific to construction. Ability to interpret construction drawings to align with drone visuals. Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset. Good communication skills and ability to work on-site in coordination with engineering teams. Preferred Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Multimedia, Civil Engineering (with drone experience), or related field. Previous experience in a construction or infrastructure company. Experience in mapping or photogrammetry software (Pix4D, DroneDeploy, etc.) is a plus. Work Schedule & Travel: Full-time role with frequent travel to project sites. Flexible working hours depending on shoot schedules and project milestones.
