Role & responsibilities Create test protocols for extensive testing and maintenance of products and drones, particularly UAVs. Creating test documentation and checklists and maintaining consistency across all tests run. Evaluate the maintenance of drones & prototypes and products during the maintenance, testing & operation phase. Analyses the field test report after every test flight by submitting the detailed MIS report and maintaining them in a record. Quality control and quality assurance of UAVs, prototypes, and products. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of our fleet of drones, ensuring that they are in optimal working condition. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with drone hardware and software, utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools and techniques. Perform repairs and replacements of faulty drone components. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for optimizing drone performance and minimizing downtime. Stay up to date with the latest developments in drone technology and make recommendations for upgrades and improvements, as necessary. Perform an internal audit based on the downtime of equipment and monitor the health of that equipment. Plan for basic, regular, and scheduled maintenance for all fleets of equipment in the drone inventory. Maintain accurate records of flights and data collected, including any issues or repairs needed. Assist in the development of flight plans and operational strategies. Skills and Qualifications Basic understanding of drone operation and flight principles. Familiarity with drone software and applications for data collection and analysis. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance related to drone operations in India. Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues with drone equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication skills to report findings and collaborate with team members. Essential Qualification Should have a Masters Degree in Science/Bachelors in Engineering/Technology Should have 4+ years Experience in Drone/Aviation Sector Should have 1+ year’s Experience as a Remote Pilot Instructor Should be DGCA certified Rotocraft Small and Medium Remote Pilot Instructor Should have good communication skills (English speaking is mandatory). Desired Qualification Should have Knowledge on Drone maintenance and trouble shooting Should have knowledge in RPTO training and Operations. Should have knowledge on UAV operations. Job Description Should conduct theory, simulator, and field training for both small and medium class. Should be responsible for conducting incident and accident free training. Should ensure the training has been conducted as per the TPM. Should ensure that all the logs are maintained properly.
