Roles And Responsibilities Design and develop drone platforms, including airframes, propulsion systems, avionics, and payloads, utilizing CAD software and other engineering tools. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate design concepts and identify potential challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, software developers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration of components and systems. Prototype and test drone prototypes in simulated environments and real-world conditions, analysing performance data and making iterative improvements. Optimize drone designs for performance, efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability, considering factors such as weight, power consumption, aerodynamics, and environmental impact. Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to drones, and integrate relevant advancements into our design processes. Support the transition of drone designs from prototyping to production, working closely with manufacturing partners to ensure quality and scalability. Document design specifications, test procedures, and results, and communicate findings and recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders. Qualification Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. years of experience in drone design, including proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
