Driver

Job Summary

A Driver is responsible for safely operating company or personal vehicles to transport goods, passengers, or materials to designated locations. The role includes following traffic laws, maintaining the vehicle, completing delivery documentation, and ensuring on-time and efficient transportation services.

Key Responsibilities1. Driving & Transportation

• Safely operate assigned vehicles (car) following all traffic rules.
• Transport goods, passengers, or materials to scheduled destinations.
• Plan routes to optimize travel time and fuel efficiency.

2. Vehicle Maintenance

• Perform daily vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, lights).
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior.
• Report mechanical issues and schedule repairs as needed.

3. Delivery & Documentation (if applicable)

• Load and unload goods carefully.
• Verify delivery receipts, invoices, and logbooks.
• Obtain customer signatures and maintain delivery records.

4. Compliance

• Follow company safety policies and government transport regulations.
• Maintain required driving licenses and certifications.
• Ensure cargo or passenger safety at all times.

5. Customer Service

• Communicate professionally with clients, passengers, and team members.
• Provide assistance with luggage, packages, or special needs when required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license ( depending on vehicle type)
• Minimum education: High School or equivalent (varies by employer)
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Prior experience as a driver is preferred but not always required
• Ability to lift and move packages (for delivery roles)

Work Environment

• Outdoor driving conditions
• May involve long-distance or interstate travel
• Shift work, weekends, or night driving depending on job type
• Frequent interaction with customers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
