As a candidate in this role, you will be responsible for managing crates and boxes efficiently in the dairy industry. Your key tasks will include: Crates and Boxes Management: - Inward Tracking: You will record the receipt of empty milk crates, chapati boxes, and bread boxes returned by drivers or customers. It will be your responsibility to inspect the condition of incoming crates and boxes for damages or usability and maintain an inward register for proper tracking. - Outward Tracking: Ensuring the correct number of crates and boxes are loaded for each delivery as per the order will be crucial. You will need to verify the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the crates and boxes before dispatch and maintain an outward register for items sent with drivers. Drivers Form Verification: - Driver Checklist Verification: You will verify driver forms for accurate details such as vehicle number, dispatch time, and delivery schedule. Cross-checking the loaded items with the drivers" checklist for order accuracy will also be part of your responsibilities. - Driver Documentation: Confirming all required permits and vehicle documents, as well as monitoring the driver's log for trip details, fuel usage, and route taken, will be essential tasks. Damage and Return Book Verification: - Damaged Crates/Boxes: Inspecting returned crates and boxes for damages, determining their usability, and recording them in the damage register will be your duty. - Return Product Verification: You will verify and record all returned products in the return book, noting the reason for return such as expired, damaged, or customer rejection. Ensuring proper segregation of return products for quality checks and disposal if necessary is also part of your role. Order-Wise Product Volume Verification: - Order Preparation: Verifying that the products are packed according to the orders" quantity and type will be essential. You will also need to ensure that the total volume matches the delivery slip and invoice. - Loading Verification: Cross-checking product volumes loaded onto delivery vehicles against order details and maintaining proper stacking and arrangement of crates and boxes to prevent damage during transit are key responsibilities. Return Products Verification: - Reconciliation: You will verify the number of returned items against the delivery and return forms. Ensuring drivers provide valid reasons and supporting documents for product returns will be part of your role. - Quality Inspection: Inspecting returned products to classify them as reworkable, damaged, or discardable and recording findings in the return product log will be your responsibility. You will also need to communicate recurring return issues to relevant departments for corrective action. Reporting and Documentation: - Prepare daily reports covering total inward and outward crates, boxes, their conditions, product volumes dispatched and returned, damage reports, reasons for returns, and driver compliance and form verification status. Submit these reports to the dispatch manager or concerned department for review. This full-time, permanent position offers benefits such as food provided, health insurance, and Provident Fund. We are looking for a Senior Manager Driver Acquisition who would report directly to the founder to manage the driver staffing team and ensure constant availability of drivers for the entire fleet. Key responsibilities: 1. Be the single point of contact for all driver hiring for the management team 2. Build and manage a team of driver hiring associates and specialists 3. Identify all the possible sources for blue collar hiring 4. Have a target of 105% of drivers to available vehicles ratio 5. Conduct driver training and onboarding 6. Preferred knowledge of working on computers; especially, responding to emails, working on excel, word and power point 4. Aptitude to learn and improve 5.
