You will be working as a Cloud & Virtualization Engineer responsible for leading the deployment, automation, and management of cloud-native and virtualized infrastructures in telecom and hyperscale environments. Your expertise with DriveNets Network Cloud will be highly valued as you collaborate across virtualization platforms, cloud environments, container technologies, and disaggregated network infrastructures to provide high-performance, scalable, and secure solutions. Your key responsibilities will include designing and deploying virtualized/cloud-native platforms such as VMware, KVM, Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS/Azure/GCP, and deploying DriveNets-based disaggregated network solutions for telecom or hyperscale use cases. You will be expected to automate infrastructure using Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools, while also monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing system/network performance. Implementing security measures, high availability/disaster recovery solutions, and ensuring regulatory compliance will be essential aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be involved in creating architecture documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and mentoring junior team members. To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in cloud/virtualization roles with proficiency in DriveNets, VMware, Kubernetes, or OpenStack. Strong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols such as BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, and cloud networking is crucial. Proficiency in scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Python, Bash, Terraform, and Ansible is required. Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker is also necessary. Prior experience in telecom or hyperscaler environments is highly advantageous. Preferred qualifications include certifications in AWS/GCP/Azure, VCP, CCNP, CKA, experience with white-box hardware and service provider networks, and familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
