As an Engineer (Mechanical) in the Quality Cable department, you will be responsible for inspecting equipment, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of various machines such as R.B.D. M/C, Stranding M/C, Extruder, Drum Twister, and more. Your role will include handling breakdown reports, allocating manpower for different shifts and tasks, and arranging spare parts for machines. You will also be involved in monitoring the condition of utility systems like Boiler, Pump House, and Compressor, as well as servicing and replacing faulty equipment. To excel in this role, you are required to have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering along with proven work experience as a maintenance engineer. Knowledge of EPA and OSHA guidelines, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems, as well as the ability to read system schematics and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions are essential. Strong communication and training skills, along with the ability to adhere to safety regulations, are also necessary. Additionally, familiarity with IT skills such as SAP and MS Office, particularly Excel, would be advantageous.
