Job Title:* Inpatient DRG Coder * Experience: 2+ years in Inpatient DRG coding * Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRG/APR-DRG * Ability to code inpatient records & discharge summaries accurately * Must meet productivity & accuracy benchmarks * Certifications preferred:* CCS, CIC, CCA, RHIT, RHIA Roles and Responsibilities Conduct quality assurance reviews of IP DRG codes to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Identify areas for improvement in coding processes and implement changes to increase efficiency. Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies and improve patient care. Develop and maintain documentation of quality control procedures for IP DRG coding. Candidates with Certification is preferred.
