Although we are open to language-agnostic candidates, the preferred tech stack includes Java/ J2EE, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, OBIEE for reporting, Informatica for BI, JAX-RS, JAX-WS for J2EE specifications, tools like Openshift or AWS for Cloud Solutions, Docker, Rocket, and Drawbridge for Containers Management, Nginx, HAProxy, or PAAS like Openshift for Elastic Scaling, and Zookeeper or Etcd for Dynamic Discovery, among others. Your role will involve re-engineering legacy applications and building a cutting-edge platform for Credit Origination 2.0 in alignment with our bank's NextGen technology vision. You will be responsible for consistently delivering valuable features, identifying process improvements, proposing innovative solutions, and assisting in elaborating requirements when necessary. In terms of programming, you should have a deep understanding of your chosen IDE, language, and toolset, as well as proficiency in threads, concurrent programming, and code optimization. Your design skills should encompass the application of appropriate design patterns, developing large features, ensuring code cleanliness and maintainability, and designing for performance at all levels. Development practices will involve automating processes, building continuous deployment pipelines, ensuring security scanning and performance testing, and monitoring systems for reliability and performance. You should be well-versed in infrastructure technologies, scripting techniques, database systems, and network communications, and have a strong understanding of security principles and secure coding practices.
