Fashion Consultant Job Title: Fashion Consultant Location: Royapettah/Nungambakkam, Chennai Responsibilities: Client Styling & Needs Assessment Understand each client’s preferences, occasion requirements, body type, and style aspirations. Offer professional styling suggestions and inspire confidence in their outfit choices. Design Ideation & Sketching Sketch personalized outfit concepts based on client input and Drapemoda’s signature style. Recommend fabrics, embellishments, colors, and silhouettes aligned with the approved concept. Production Coordination Coordinate with in-house production team (tailors and aari karigars) to ensure accurate execution of the design. Monitor progress of each order and ensure timely delivery and quality control. Fittings & Final Delivery Schedule and coordinate trial fittings, handle alterations if required, and ensure the client is fully satisfied with the final outfit. Deliver the finished product with a memorable, boutique-style client experience. Confidentiality & Ethics Maintain full confidentiality of client information, outfit designs, and personal preferences. Sign and uphold a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Non-Compete Agreement (NCA) as part of the role. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in fashion styling, consulting, or bespoke fashion.. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop. Strong sketching, illustration, and visualization skills. Knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and production techniques. Strong creative flair with an eye for detail, color, and style. Fluency in English and Hindi is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience in both haute couture and ready-to-wear design. Understanding of sustainable fashion practices. Familiarity with digital fashion design and virtual fittings.
