Draftsperson

Role Purpose

The role holder will be responsible for translating design concepts into precise technical drawings and documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. They will collaborate with CAD designers and engineers to produce detailed layouts, blueprints for construction activities in a timely manner. The incumbent is expected to adhere to the standard templates and processes while executing their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for working on design plans and profiles for road sections.
• Ensure adherence to design inputs for different proposals/designs for roads and other allied domains (Structures, Building & Architectural).
• Produce drawings for - Plan and Profile (P&P) of main carriageway, crossroads & junctions, Interchanges etc, major and minor junctions, drainage P&P, miscellaneous items (bus bay, truck layby, toll plaza layout, KM & HM stone, metal beam crash barrier etc), street lighting, road marking and road signage, road studs, avenue, and median plantation.
• Adherence to timelines and quality standards while providing accurate, detailed and to scale drawings.
• Ensure to prepare proper documentation of drawing and filing.
• Stay updated of the latest advancements in CAD technology and design methodologies to enhance capabilities.

Indicative Experience and Exposure

• Diploma in Civil Engineering / ITI
• O4(Draftsperson): 10-15 yrs. of experience
• O5(Senior Draftsperson): 15-20 yrs. of experience
