DRAFTSMAN (MEP)

As a highly skilled and specialized Draughtsman at Keiyan MEP Service LLP, a prominent player in Mumbai's Architecture & Planning industry, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed drawings for custom modular furniture and integrated Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Your expertise will serve as the technical backbone of our design process, working closely with architects and engineers to transform intricate concepts into precise, manufacturable, and buildable plans. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional proficiency in CAD software and possess a comprehensive understanding of interior fabrication and building services. Your key responsibilities will include Technical Design & Drafting, where you will develop precise 2D and 3D technical drawings and shop drawings for modular furniture, incorporating joinery details, materials, and hardware specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing coordinated MEP Drawings for HVAC, electrical (power and lighting layouts), plumbing, and fire safety systems, ensuring clash-free integration with architectural and interior designs. Collaboration & Coordination will be a significant aspect of your role, requiring close collaboration with architects, interior designers, and MEP engineers to maintain design intent, accuracy, and feasibility. You will also manage revisions based on feedback from project managers and client meetings, conducting site visits in the Mumbai area for field measurements and verification of existing conditions. Regarding Documentation & Compliance, you will prepare and review technical documents, schedules, and specifications, ensuring compliance with the National Building Code (NBC), local regulations, and industry best practices. The specific responsibilities may be customized to align with the successful candidate's experience and strengths, evolving in line with Frontier Furnitures growth and operational strategy.
