As a BMS Drafter, your role involves preparing comprehensive BMS shop drawings including PMU, water metering, leak detection, and CO sensor detection systems. You will develop detailed installation drawings based on site conditions and instructions from site engineers. It is essential to review design drawings, material submittals, project specifications, and technical data sheets prior to shop drawing development to ensure compliance with project requirements. Your responsibilities will also include: - Preparing detailed shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and control panel layouts for BMS systems in accordance with project specifications. - Incorporating consultant and client comments, preparing resolution/response sheets, and coordinating with engineers to ensure full compliance with review feedback. - Coordinating BMS shop drawings with mechanical, piping, and HVAC disciplines to identify and resolve clashes and obstructions during construction. - Collaborating closely with MEP engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure BMS designs are aligned with overall building plans. - Attending coordination and technical meetings to capture changes from consultants, clients, and other stakeholders and implementing them in drawings. - Working with BMS engineers to ensure drawings accurately reflect approved technical specifications and system requirements. - Ensuring all drawings comply with project specifications, local authority codes, and company drafting standards. - Maintaining drawing revision control, document tracking, and proper record management throughout the project lifecycle. - Providing technical support to site teams, including clarifications, revisions, and modifications as required during execution. - Reviewing and verifying design and shop drawings to ensure accuracy, constructability, and overall quality. - Implementing client and consultant feedback promptly to meet project schedules. - Assisting in the preparation of I/O schedules, point lists, and material submittals for BMS systems.
