Draftsman & 3D CAD Modelling

Role Overview: You will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D and 3D engineering drawings, supporting the design and development of mechanical components, tools, jigs, fixtures, and assemblies. Your role will involve translating design concepts into precise technical documentation using industry-standard CAD software. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models for mechanical parts, assemblies, jigs, fixtures, and other components. - Interpret and convert design concepts, sketches, and technical inputs into detailed and accurate drawings. - Develop layout, detailed, and exploded-view drawings in compliance with internal and industry standards. - Update and revise drawings based on engineering change requests or feedback from design, production, and quality teams. - Ensure strict adherence to tolerances, material specifications, and drawing norms. - Maintain proper drawing documentation, version control, and record management for all projects. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve drawing or design-related queries efficiently. - Support design validation and prototyping processes through accurate technical documentation. - Assist in the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOM) based on approved drawings. - Maintain and organize a structured drawing database for easy accessibility and retrieval.
