Position Title: Asst Manager/ Dy Manager Contracts & Litigation Location: Pune Qualification and experience: Law degree from a leading university or a law school; A minimum of 8 years of PQE at a law firm and/or in-house legal role, with demonstrable experience in: Drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts; Managing contract lifecycle; Handling in house legal advisory work; Managing litigations and dispute resolution. 3. Skilled in drafting notices, replies, pleadings to be filed in courts, business agreements etc 4. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks applicable to infrastructure / energy sector Contract Management & Negotiation Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including: Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Agreements Vendor and service agreements NDAs, MoUs and term sheets Ensure contracts are aligned with business objectives, all other allied contracts, risk mitigation strategies and legal compliance. Maintain and update contract templates and playbooks in line with evolving legal and business requirements. Legal Advisory & Risk Mitigation Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders on various operational and day to day legal and business issues. Advise on regulatory and statutory compliance relevant to contracts and operations. Staying abreast with latest legal rulings and developments Dispute Resolution & Litigation Support Manage pre-litigation strategy and coordinate with external counsel for ongoing and anticipated disputes. Draft and review legal notices, responses and pleadings for courts. Adept at negotiations with internal and external stakeholders to avoid litigation. Skills & Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within strict timelines
