You will be joining Colgate-Palmolive, a global consumer products company operating in over 200 countries, specializing in Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Skin Care, and Pet Nutrition. As a Specialist / Sr. Analyst, Taxation, your role will involve managing litigation, preparing and filing replies to various notices, interacting with tax authorities, risk management, tax advocacy, and staying updated on relevant legislations. Responsibilities: - Managing relationships with tax authorities and informing stakeholders on emerging taxation issues. - Interacting with tax authorities for audits, notices, and attending hearings as necessary. - Preparing and filing replies/submissions to routine notices, Show cause notices, and appeals. - Filing appeals before GST authorities and representing during appellate proceedings. - Coordinating with external Tax consultants and internal stakeholders for reconciliations and assessments. - Proactively collating data for audits/appeals including State-wise Trial balances. - Identifying differences in GSTR returns and making submissions before GST authorities. - Drafting briefs for opinions and making representations before industry forums/tax authorities. Required Qualifications: - Preferably a CA with 2/3 years of work experience or CA Intern with 5/6+ years of experience in indirect taxes. - Expertise in GST litigation management. - SAP experience desired. Preferred Qualifications: - Tax Technology orientation. - Effective business writing skills. - Solid understanding of MS Office.
