As an OCI Cloud Engineer, you will collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain various components of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the implementation and integration of cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and adhere to best practices. You will actively participate in the troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to OCI services, working closely with the support and operations teams. Additionally, you will contribute to the documentation of technical designs, specifications, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing. You should possess an eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, industry trends, and advancements in cloud computing. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management and customer support, to gather requirements and provide technical expertise will be a key aspect of your role. Working closely with the Oracle team, you will optimize the platform with respect to compute, cost, and performance. Automation experience is desired to help in automating the infrastructure effectively. In addition to the primary responsibilities, it would be beneficial to have experience in DR setup, familiarity with distributed systems, networking, and storage technologies in a cloud environment. Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools, as well as excellent problem-solving skills to analyze and debug complex technical issues, are crucial. Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and experience with migration of Applications and Databases from OnPrem to OCI will be advantageous. Hands-on experience with Oracle Linux and RHEL operating systems is preferred, along with knowledge of Oracle 12C Databases, 11G/12C RAC, and 19C RAC. Understanding of Boot, Block, NFS volumes, NVMe drives, OCI BM Servers, and associated knowledge regarding bare metal servers is essential. Working knowledge of OCI native capabilities, such as firewall, VPN gateways, Security List, and Network configuration is required. Monitoring the health of OCI services using OCI Dash Board and possessing relevant certifications in cloud computing, such as Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), will be considered a plus.,
