You are a Senior Principal Analog Layout Engineer at OnSemi, responsible for developing high-quality layout for complex AMS IP blocks including voltage regulators, bandgap, current sense-amp, amplifier, high voltage switches, and drivers. Developing scripts and methods for layout design automation will also be a part of your duties. As a Principal Analog Design Engineer specializing in New Product Development within Power Management at Onsemi in Bengaluru, India, you will be a crucial member of the team responsible for the advancement of various Power Management products for consumer, industrial, and automotive applications. These products include DC-DC PMIC/POL, Multiphase controllers, Dr. MOS, AC-DC converters, LED drivers, SiC drivers, switches, and e-fuses. Your primary responsibilities in this role will include leading an analog IP block from its definition phase to the delivery of the IP. You will be tasked with evaluating the intermediate and final results of projects both during the design phase and the silicon evaluation stage to ensure the achievement of technical objectives. Furthermore, you will collaborate with physical designers, providing guidance and closely monitoring the progress of IC layout. Collaboration will be a key aspect of your role as you work with Design Verification teams in the pre-tapeout phase to guarantee the completion of all technical tasks before tapeout. Additionally, you will liaise with validation, product engineering, and test engineering teams to facilitate a successful transition to production.
