Role & responsibilities Role Overview The ASM General Trade will be responsible for driving primary and secondary sales, expanding the distributor network, and ensuring strong market execution across the assigned territories of Gujarat and Rajasthan. This role requires hands-on market experience, a strong distributor-handling background, and a proven ability to deliver results in FMCG sales. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Distribution Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the region. Manage and expand the distribution network across key cities and towns. Ensure availability, visibility, and range selling of Beyond Snack products in GT outlets. Drive primary and secondary sales through effective planning and execution. 2. Market Execution & Merchandising Ensure adherence to company merchandising standards and visibility norms. Plan and execute trade promotions and sampling activities. Track competition activities and market trends to provide insights for strategy building. 3. Team & Distributor Management Appoint, train, and manage distributors and sales representatives (SO/SR). Monitor distributor ROI, stock levels, and claims management. Conduct regular market visits with the team to ensure productivity and performance. 4. Reporting & Coordination Prepare and share sales reports, market insights, and forecasts with the Regional Manager. Coordinate with the supply chain, marketing, and finance teams for smooth operations. Preferred candidate profile Graduate / MBA preferred. 4–8 years of FMCG sales experience, with at least 2 years in a GT ASM role. Proven experience handling distributors, sales teams, and retail networks. Strong understanding of Gujarat and/or Rajasthan markets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Self-driven, energetic, and result-oriented.
