Job Title: Dentist Department: Dental / Clinical Reports To: Chief Dental Officer Job Summary: Provide professional dental care to patients, including diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of oral diseases and conditions. Ensure high standards of dental practice and patient satisfaction while maintaining clinic hygiene and safety protocols. --- Key Responsibilities: Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and mouth. Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, crowns, and bridges. Advise patients on oral health, preventive dental care, and nutrition. Interpret dental X-rays and diagnostic tests. Administer anesthetics and ensure patient comfort during treatment. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes. Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization standards. Supervise dental assistants, hygienists, and other support staff (if applicable). Stay updated with new dental technologies, materials, and techniques. --- Qualifications: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent from a recognized university. Valid dental registration/license (as per local regulatory authority). Minimum 1–3 years of clinical experience (fresh graduates may also apply, depending on clinic). Proficiency in general dentistry procedures; specialization is an added advantage. --- Skills Required: Strong diagnostic and clinical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Attention to detail and manual dexterity. Compassionate approach to patient care.
