Role & responsibilities : We are looking for a qualified Project Engineer (Civil) with strong experience in the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for urban infrastructure and development projects. The candidate will be responsible for site assessments, engineering design inputs, quantity estimation, cost analysis, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams for the preparation of technically sound and comprehensive DPRs. This role requires hands-on knowledge of civil engineering standards, infrastructure planning norms, and public sector project structuring. Conduct site surveys, reconnaissance studies, and data collection for DPR preparation. Review design concepts, technical drawings, and alignment/layout plans. Estimate quantities and prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates. Collaborate with architects, planners, and service engineers to ensure integration across disciplines. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and technical guidelines. Draft technical sections of DPRs including methodology, execution strategy, and cost justification. Liaise with government agencies, associates and stakeholders for approvals and inputs. Support tender document preparation based on DPR outcomes. Prepare technical presentations and reports as required. Essential Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office etc. Sound understanding of urban infrastructure systems roads, water supply, sewerage, stormwater, and public buildings. Familiarity with government working Strong report writing and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multi-disciplinary coordination.
