Name of Position: Hydro Power Engineer (Assistant Manager) Job location Ranchi, Jharkhand (Willingness to travel as per project requirement) Required Minimum 8 years of experience in Hydro Energy Sector for development of Hydro project. Hydro project handling experience in planning and execution of the project Hydro Energy Sector for the development of the Hydro project. Proven track record in bringing hydropower projects from an initial lead to final commissioning Required Knowledge & Skill - In-depth knowledge of Hydro Power technology - Manage project communication and documentation in English & Hindi Language - Evaluate the completeness of technical documents of the hydro Project, such as feasibility study documents, detailed engineering design, soil test results, permits, power purchase agreement, etc. - Conduct initial technical due diligences of the hydro project by assessing the quality and reliability of provided project documents. - Review and design of civil components of hydropower and other infrastructure/ facilities - Asses the due diligence from external consultants critically - Accurate and analytical abilities - Excellent planning and communication skills - Self-driven with a strong urge to take leadership in building up a new field of work - To work with the clients on an assigned project to identify solutions to business problems and streamline processes - To manage and mentoring the team assigned to the project; in order to execute and complete assigned projects within the time and scope with the client; - To evaluate existing systems and procedures and making recommendations for improvement; - Manage project communication and documentation in English & Hindi Language - Develop and deliver reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations related to project - Develop Detailed Project Report, Detailed Feasibility Report, Tender etc - Carryout periodic quality checks as required. - Conduct and participate in different levels of project-related meetings as per requirement. - Liaise with project stakeholders, internal and external Stakeholders on an ongoing basis - Assessment of Commercial aspects - Client management and liaisoning - Policy Analysis and Regulatory work on behalf of the client related to the Hydel sector and support the state in policy formation - Work on Financial Models - Policy Analysis and development - Payment process coordination for projects - Project proposal development - Organizing meetings, as required, with the client, subcontractors and internal resources to resolve issues and ensure smooth project implementation - Good Knowledge of the latest Renewable Energy Policies & Regulations for Hydel and its growth prospective etc - Any other things as and when delegated by management time to time
