Job Summary: The Stores Pharmacist is responsible for managing the medical store inventory, ensuring the availability of medicines and medical supplies, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves procurement, storage, issuing, and documentation of pharmaceuticals and related items. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintain adequate stock of medicines, surgical items, and consumables. Conduct regular stock checks and physical verification. Monitor stock expiry and ensure timely return or disposal. Maintain batch number, expiry date, and MRP records. Procurement & Supply: Raise purchase requisitions based on minimum stock levels. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery. Receive, inspect, and verify stock against purchase orders. Dispensing & Distribution: Issue medicines to various departments as per indent. Ensure proper documentation for all inward and outward stock. Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all pharmaceutical practices are in line with Drug & Cosmetic Act regulations. Maintain records required for drug audits and inspections. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily issue registers, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and ledger entries. Prepare stock reports, expiry reports, and consumption analyses. Report stock discrepancies and breakages. Qualifications: D.Pharm or B.Pharm (Mandatory) Registered Pharmacist with Karnataka State Pharmacy Council (Mandatory) Minimum 1 to 3 years experience in hospital pharmacy/store preferred Skills Required: Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and medical supplies Strong organizational and record-keeping skills Attention to detail and integrity Basic computer proficiency (Excel, inventory systems) Good communication and coordination skills

To work on Implemented policies of Medication management & uses. To Maintain Inventory controls. To solve the staff problems during the shift. To train & Educate the staff regarding Pharmacy Operation To meet doctors for the Non moving Stocks, Nearest Expiry Medicines to minimize loss of Pharmacy department, improve communication & efficacy. To distribute categories for stock verification once in a month. To check stock papers of Daily item Transaction checking. To participate in a meeting internally with the staff once in a month. To Counsel Patients regarding our services & reliabilities. To increase home deliveries through call back system & customer counseling. To prepare a data of Patients who are taking Medicines routinely. To make prescription Audit to achieve Zero tolerance of Medication Error. To Cross check Bills against Prescription. To make call back to Patients for reminding of Purchase of medicines. To establish good communication between Ward pharmacist & Clinical pharmacist. Actively participate in Medication Safety Plan and Focus on Pharmacy Budgeted revenue revenue. Regular participate in all the training and activities of Hospitals. To actively participate in all quality improvement activities across the organization, including but not limited to energy conservation. To participate comprehensively in all quality program.
