Job Title: Plant Head Location: Pune Company: Kailas Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Industry: Turnkey Food Processing Projects (Manufacturing) Experience Required: 12 to 18 years Number of Vacancies: 1 Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and proactive Plant Head to lead our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant performance, including production, maintenance, quality, safety,procrument and manpower. The Plant Head will ensure timely execution of projects, optimal resource utilization, and alignment with quality and cost objectives. Experience in machinery manufacturing or turnkey project environments is essential. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. • Implement and manage production plans aligned with project timelines for turnkey food processing equipment. • Ensure coordination between production, design, procurement, and project teams for seamless execution. • Monitor plant performance through key metrics (output, efficiency, downtime, quality) and drive continuous improvement. • Optimize resource utilizationmanpower, machinery, material—and reduce operational costs. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, statutory, and environmental regulations. • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best manufacturing practices. • Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and minimize breakdowns. • Support quality assurance and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). • Mentor and manage plant staff; assess performance and ensure skill development. • Collaborate with the senior leadership team on budgeting, planning, and strategic initiatives. • Drive lean manufacturing, 5S, and other process improvement methodologies. Required Qualifications & Experience: • Education: BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering; MBA in Operations or equivalent is an added advantage • Experience: 12–18 years in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in capital equipment, food machinery, or turnkey project industries Skills & Competencies: • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and plant operations • Working knowledge of mechanical fabrication, assembly, machining, and testing • Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and production planning tools • Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict resolution skills • Understanding of statutory compliances, safety, and quality standards • Excellent communication in English, Hindi, and Marathi • Analytical mindset with strong decision-making skills Desired Attributes: • Ownership-driven with a result-oriented approach • Disciplined, organized, and time-efficient • High integrity and professionalism • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines • Continuous improvement mindset How to Apply: Interested candidates can email their resume to hr@kailasengineering.com or WhatsApp their profile on 9175115560Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
