Role Description This is a full-time role for an Estimation Engineer/Executive located on-site in Thane. The main responsibilities include preparing quotations, negotiating with vendors, and preparing documents if required . The Estimation Engineer/Executive will work with various teams to ensure accurate and timely project estimations and costings. Qualifications Experience in quotation building Preferred - Mechanical Engineering knowledge and skills Negotiation skills Ability to use excel and PowerPoint Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Previous experience in the fire protection industry is a plus Freshers are welcomed from commerce field as well.
Key Responsibilities: 1. ELV Design: • Design and develop ELV systems including CCTV, access control, public address, fire alarm, voice evacuation. • Prepare schematic diagrams, layouts, and technical specifications. • Ensure designs comply with local and international codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IS). 2. Mechanical Design: • Design firefighting systems from concept to GFC (Good for Construction) stage. • Knowledge about Gas Suppression Systems. • Review project specifications and client requirements to ensure compliance. • Conduct technical reviews and value engineering assessments. 3. General: • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams, engineers, and consultants. • Participate in design coordination meetings and site inspections. • Prepare BOQs, technical submittals, and as-built documentation. • Support project managers during design, tender, and execution. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or related discipline. • 2-3 years of experience in ELV and Piping systems design. • Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Revit MEP etc. • Strong knowledge of NFPA and IS codes and design standards. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and coordination skills.
