Senior Network Engineer Base location: India Travel expectations: Europe/US (when possible) This is an exciting opportunity to come into a medium sized company and really make a difference. Responsibilities include: Operate the companys LAN and WAN infrastructure Monitor WAN circuits, device reachability and health condition Keep software up to date on network devices in line with security advisements Apply global network standards and policies Troubleshoot and fix network issues Support sites in LAN configuration changes in line with business requirements Manage network refresh projects and migrations Support new site installations Operate on-prem datacenters network infrastructure and Direct Connect to AWS Work with customers and partners to setup and operate network connectivity Support IT security audits Provide network metrics for executive team and stakeholders Manage and maintain network documentation, diagrams and best practices Consistently research and review new network technologies and practices to strengthen the company’s global network infrastructure. Required Experience and Skills : Minimum of 8 plus years of IT networking experience, including all the responsibilities listed for this position. The candidate is expected to work in a highly dynamic and technical environment with relentless focus on delivering Remarkable Customer Experience. In-depth knowledge of the following: Switching Technology [xSTP, VRRP, LACP, Etherchannel, Dot1x, Dot1q, QOS, POE] IP and related protocols (ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP) 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax Wireless protocol standards. BGP, OSPF, VxLAN, EVPN understanding would be an added advantage. Scripting skills like Python, or Shell (bash, csh) would be considered as added advantage. Preferred Work Experience Technical Support experience supporting critical network infrastructures of Enterprise/Telecom or Cloud customers Troubleshooting complex networks in Switching/Wireless/Cloud domain Experience in working with Product Development/Engineering team to resolve customer reported issues. Network Design and implementation experience in Datacenters would be a plus. Educational Qualification Engineering Graduates with 7+ years of relevant work experience JNCIE or CCIE in Routing Switching is a Plus. Certification on Cloud based / wireless technologies is an added advantage.

Position Specific duties : R1 Core Infrastructure - Network LAN , WAN , DataCenter & Wireless Design , build ,automate , implement & support Collaborate within ScrumTeam, with architects, EM/PO 's and other products that integrate with our Platform product to meet customer expectations . Support EM/PO to ensure the products remain technically healthy and that we monitor our technical debt providing for stable products and ongoing customer value delivery. Tier-III support for complex network incidents/issues/changes/Problems Problem management, including root case analysis and problem tasks to prevent incidents from re-occurring Leverage Common systems logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, DNA Center, NMC, prime & NMIS Deep packet analysis to find root cause for complex network issues Contribute towards continuous improvement of network quality Document architecture of new network technology or network designs Participate with other IT Scrum teams to perform advanced level work that consists of, but is not limited to design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, tuning and maintenance of Cisco or other networking systems consistent with network standards and/or strategic technology direction As part of Reigonal Platform Team particpate with Global Product Team to mantain IT network standards. Participate in large scale changes to information technology (IT) infrastructure for Regional Infra .
