Role & responsibilities Expertise in rotating equipment like large capacity compressor, pumps (horizontal & vertical), packaged equipment (pressurizing system, dosing system etc.) with knowledge in applicable Indian and International codes and standards (API/HIS/IS). Should possess working awareness of design interface with other system engineers/contractors and statutory approval authorities. Experience in detail design of pump house, compressor plant for power plants, metro, hydel. Exposure to CFD analysis and sump model study of pumping system. Design calculations including pressure drop calculations, layout preparation, selection of materials, PID & PFD finalization Responsible for RFQ preparation, vendor bid document evaluation, detail design documents review and finalization Interface signoff with other system engineers/contractors Responsible for coordination with site team, QA, client and other stakeholders
