Role & responsibilities Key Skills: Experience on Catia V5 of automotive interiors 2D & 3D (Soft & Hard trims), Basic Knowledge about Team Center (PLM). BIW Knowledge will be an added advantage. Understand project requirements as per program milestones. Support project delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation. Release of drawings and models with system engineer. Preparation of Bill of material. Design & development of automotive interior products like Headliners / Doors / Cockpits / Lighting. Able to read and interpret manufacturing drawings. Creation of 3D annotation for part and assembly level product. Gap plan drawing creation with respect to DVA. Local and customer Drawing Creation with consideration of 3-2-1 principle, car positioning, customer methodology, GD&T etc. Design, development of interior products Cockpit, Door Trims, Instrument Panel. Should be able to design and develop the master section, concept detailing independently. Candidate should have executed at least couple of related engineering projects throughout the product life-cycle. Creation and modification of CAD models and drawings in required CAD software To follow defined processes & customer standards and maintain quality and delivery targets in day-to-day customer deliveries Customer data management Good knowledge in CATIA V5 or V6 UG NX will be added advantage. Exposure to automotive engineering and design. Experience & working knowledge on PLM Tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Team orientation and willingness to learn new skills
