Job Description

As a candidate for the position, you are expected to have at least 5 plus years of experience in the field. You should possess a decent End to End knowledge of various Commerce subsystems including Storefront, Core Commerce back end, Post Purchase processing, OMS, Store / Warehouse Management processes, Supply Chain, and Logistic processes. This knowledge is crucial to understanding the overall Retail landscape of any customer. Your key responsibilities will include: - Having 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET/C# in design and development, and preferably with good e-commerce domain knowledge. - Developing, enhancing, and maintaining the OMS stack using Microsoft-based technologies such as .NET, C#, ASPX, and dependent legacy components. - Demonstrating good extensive knowledge of Microservice based event-driven architecture with a cloud provider, preferably AWS. - Understanding Service Oriented Architecture, developing/securely exposing/consuming Web Services RESTful, and integrating headless applications. - Having a good understanding of API concepts and technologies like REST, JSON, GraphQL, and Swagger. - Being able to troubleshoot issues, understand system end-to-end, and maintain applications effectively. - Having knowledge of Data Structures and Entity models. - Understanding how to build, deploy, and maintain server-based as well as serverless applications on the cloud, preferably AWS. - Expertise in integrating synchronously and asynchronously with third-party web services. - Having concrete knowledge of AWS services like Lambda functions, API Gateway, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, Event bridge, Kinesis, Secret Manager, S3 storage, and server architectural models. - Knowledge of major eCommerce / OMS platforms will be an added advantage. - Having at least 2-4 years of experience in Oracle or other relational DB programming, especially with experience in Query optimizations and Report creations. - Possessing a working knowledge of Production Application Support. - Understanding Agile methodology, CI/CD pipelines, code repo, and branching strategies, preferably with GitHub or Bitbucket. - Having knowledge of observability tools like NewRelic, DataDog, Graphana, Splunk, and configuring new reports, proactive alert settings, monitoring KPIs. - Understanding L3 support processes, roles, and responsibilities. - Working closely with counterparts in L1/L2 teams to monitor, analyze, expedite issue resolutions, reduce stereotypes, automate SOPs, or find avenues for the same by being proactive. - Being flexible to work with overlap with some part of onsite (PST) hours to hand off / transition work for the day to the onsite counterpart for L3.
