About this opportunity:
Ericsson is looking for a diligent and competent Domain Support Specialist. As a member of our SRF team, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing maintenance activities, providing technical support, and coordinating daily operational tasks. This role centers on ensuring that our services and resources are efficiently activated, configured, and tested. What you will do:
The SRF (Service Request Fulfilment) team member is responsible for implementing changes in the live environment, ensuring seamless operations, and minimizing service disruptions. This role involves gathering requirements, preparing and executing Method of Procedures (MOPs), and reviewing activity logs to maintain the stability and reliability of the system.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for changes in the live environment.
- Analyze requirements to ensure clarity and feasibility.
- MOP Preparation and Execution:
- Prepare a raw Method of Procedure (MOP) detailing the steps for executing changes on the testbed.
- Execute changes on the testbed environment to validate procedures.
- Prepare the final MOP for production deployment after successful testbed execution.
- Verification and Validation:
- Ensure MOPs for significant activities (e.g., RHEL patching, Oracle PSU, EP deployment) are thoroughly verified by the team lead.
- Validate changes before deployment to the production environment.
- Production Execution:
- Execute validated MOPs in the production environment to implement changes.
- Monitor and document the implementation process.
- Activity Log Review:
- Review activity logs to ensure changes were implemented correctly.
- Document any issues or observations and report to the relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in Mobile Financial Services.
- Degree within Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Mandatory Skill Set:
- RHCSA certified.
- CKA certification.
- Charging & Rating tree configuration Knowledge.
- Financial Platform Knowledge like Digital Wallet, money transfer etc.
Skills And Competencies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of ITIL Change Management process.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems, particularly RHEL and DevOps/Cloud.
- Familiarity with Oracle PSU, EP deployment, and other significant activities.
- Experience with creating and executing MOPs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle service-affecting changes with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in using testbed environments for change validation.
