Domain Architect - L1

The role is focused on the overall development of the target Architecture by defining the technology roadmap for your own business/domain. You will be recognized as a subject matter expert in a specific domain and will provide expert advice and guidance to various business stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include developing architectural applications for new deals/major change requests, creating enterprise-wide business/domain architecture deliverables, and looking for opportunities to utilize high-level business and operating models. You will contribute to the Target Architecture by developing and maintaining the technology roadmap for your area of expertise and ensuring alignment with the Business Strategy. Additionally, you will work with other IS and business stakeholders to drive the development and adoption of the target architecture for your domain, establish domain-specific standards and strategies, and guide solutions from concept to delivery. You will play a key role in overseeing product/platform engineering, protocol map development, and virtualization based on business solution requirements. Your expertise in applying architectural and engineering concepts to design solutions that meet operational requirements will be essential. You will also participate in research and development efforts, collaborate with IT and line of business functional groups, and provide technology consulting to solution architects and junior staff members. Furthermore, you will define high-level migration plans, provide technical leadership in implementing custom solutions, and evaluate and recommend solutions to integrate with the overall technology ecosystem while maintaining consistency. Your role will involve understanding enterprise requirements, creating intellectual property in various forms, and bringing knowledge of automation in applications through Agile and DevOps principles. You will be responsible for successfully applying technology in your domain to solve business problems in a supportable and cost-effective manner. Additionally, you will analyze the current technology environment, develop a direction to manage the portfolio of solutions, provide platforms for standardized tools and techniques, and ensure seamless integration and advising of new and existing systems to eliminate potential problems. As part of the role, you will enable delivery teams by providing optimal delivery solutions/frameworks, build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, collaborate with enterprise architects, and establish relevant technical and business process metrics. You will bring value in terms of quality in development activities, identify risks, ensure quality assurance of architecture or design decisions, recommend tools for reuse and automation, and lead the development and maintenance of enterprise frameworks. Moreover, you will ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, negotiate and coordinate with client teams, and demonstrate thought leadership with strong technical capability in front of clients. The mandatory skill required for this role is VLSI Physical Place and Route, and the preferred experience is 8-10 years.
