You will report to the Director of Product Management, who empowers team members to take ownership of their work and develop actionable plans independently. Intensieve zorg Binnen de intensieve zorg wonen 7 bewoners met een intensieve zorgvraag (VG7). Binnen ASVZ richten wij ons niet op het beheersen en voorkomen van probleemgedrag, maar op het voorleven en bevorderen van het gewone leven. Wanneer de focus van het probleemgedrag af is, verdwijnt dit gedrag naar de achtergrond. Door deze onvoorwaardelijke ondersteuning in combinatie met een zinvol gevuld dagprogramma zie je dat de kwaliteit van het bestaan toeneemt. De uitdaging binnen de intensieve zorg ligt dan ook in het op zoek gaan naar de onvervulde menselijke behoefte achter het probleemgedrag. EVB (Ernstig verstandelijke beperking) Op een EVB woning wonen gemiddeld zeven tot acht bewoners. Deze bewoners hebben een ernstige verstandelijke beperking met mogelijk een lichamelijke beperking en/of medische problemen. De ontwikkelingsleeftijd van de bewoners ligt tussen de zes maanden en twee jaar. Verbale communicatie is niet vanzelfsprekend en vindt plaats op een eenvoudige manier. Door gebruik van pictogrammen, gebarentaal of lichaamshouding/ taal. Het is voor mensen met EVB vaak moeilijk om de wereld om zich heen te begrijpen. Om zich veilig te voelen hebben zij de juiste begeleiding en/ of verzorging nodig in een vertrouwde omgeving. De vertrouwde begeleiders en het netwerk (ouders/ verwanten en vrijwilligers) zijn heel belangrijk voor de bewoners en dragen bij aan het gevoel van veiligheid. Bij het werken met de doelgroep EVB is het bieden van structuur in een voorspelbare omgeving heel belangrijk. Je moet vooruit kunnen denken in de begeleiding én verzorgingsmomenten. Diversiteit en ontwikkelingsgerichtheid staan hoog in het vaandel. Verder moet je doorzettingsvermogen hebben en denk je in mogelijkheden. Je bent cliëntgericht, loyaal en je hebt humor. Bij Twijndershoek 7 werk je in een warm en betrokken team, waar je écht het verschil maakt in het dagelijks leven van jongeren die op weg zijn hun vaardigheden uit te breiden met hulp van jou ! Daarom ondersteun jij ze daarbij. Je zorgt dat bewoners zich veilig voelen. Samen bouw je aan succeservaringen op de verschillende leefgebieden. Zo vergroot je hun (zelf)vertrouwen, zodat ze zo zelfstandig mogelijk kunnen leven. Je kijkt waar ze tegenaan lopen en gaat met ze in gesprek over moeilijke onderwerpen, zoals drank, drugs en social media. Als begeleider van mensen met een LVB is het belangrijk dat je rust en vertrouwen uitstraalt. De bewoners zijn vaak verbaal sterk. De kunst is om achter hun gedrag te kijken.
