HaskoningDHV (India) is currently in search of a skilled and motivated Documents Controller to bolster our Watervrelated projects in India. This position is project-based in Raigad, Maharashtra. As a Documents Controller at HaskoningDHV, your responsibilities will include efficiently managing and organizing a large volume of engineering drawings and documents across various projects. You will be tasked with implementing a robust IT-based document management system to handle high-volume workflows effectively. Your role will involve reviewing document submissions from contractors, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with submission guidelines and the completeness of submitted documents. Document classification, storage, archiving of electronic and physical documents, and coordinating with teams for efficient document updates and distribution will be key aspects of your job. You will maintain an organized system to enable prompt document retrieval, track revisions, and manage version histories to ensure all users have access to the latest documents. Collaborating with different project teams, including contractors, consultants, and engineers, to facilitate seamless document exchange will be an integral part of your role. You will serve as a central point of contact for document-related queries across multiple projects and support team members and stakeholders in accessing required documents efficiently. Additionally, you will conduct training sessions for team members on the proper utilization of IT-based document management systems, regularly audit the document management system for optimal functionality and data security, and troubleshoot system issues to enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a graduate degree in Science, Commerce, or Information Management, possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in document management and control, and have a background in Electronic Document Management within the context of engineering projects for consultants or contractors. Proficiency in Business English communication, such as emails and letters, is a key requirement.
