You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in functional testing of core banking systems. As a Functional Tester specializing in Core Banking Systems, particularly the DNA Platform, you will be responsible for conducting functional testing of banking applications. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements, test planning, execution, defect tracking, and collaborating with business and development teams to enhance software quality. Key responsibilities include performing functional testing on core banking applications, analyzing business and functional requirements to create test plans, test cases, and test scripts, executing manual and automated tests, identifying and tracking defects using tools such as JIRA or HP ALM, working closely with various teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, supporting User Acceptance Testing, conducting regression testing, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations and industry standards. Additionally, you will be expected to provide detailed test reports and analysis for management review. To excel in this role, you must possess hands-on experience with DNA Core Banking System, proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect tracking, familiarity with testing tools like JIRA or HP ALM, knowledge of SQL queries for data validation, understanding of API testing using tools like Postman, and awareness of regulatory compliance requirements such as AML, KYC, and risk management. The ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate effectively is essential. Desirable skills include automation testing experience using tools like Selenium, UFT, or Tosca, familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner, knowledge of cloud-based core banking solutions, and experience in integration testing with third-party banking services.,
