Role Summary Neilsoft is currently looking for an Highway/Roadways Engineer to join our growing Infrastructure Team located at our Pune office, for working on multiple overseas projects. Responsibilities: Geometric Design of Highways and Roadways Alignments, Corridor Design, and Junction Design (at-grade or grade-separated) Preparing Reports, Specifications, and other deliverables for Highway Schemes of overseas Projects including Urban and Industrial Projects Production of Highway/Roadway Engineering Designs and Construction Drawings (independently) for different stages of the Project using relevant Standards Deliver Engineering Designs that are technically in line with the Clients requirements Provide direction to the CAD Team Members for preparing accurate Detailed Engineering Drawings Ensure Designs, Calculations and Drawings are appropriate and meet the expected levels of Technical Excellence Perform QA / QC related activities, in line with Neilsofts Quality Standard Process through necessary Checklists, Design Methodology, Calculations, Outcomes, etc. Support Senior Engineers in delivering Infrastructure Development Projects (day-to-day activities related to Analysis and Design) Assist Team Lead in Proposal Preparation and Project Presentations Background and Skills: Candidate should have experience of working on various types of Civil Infrastructure and/or Land Development Projects, and of managing International Roadways/ Highway Design Projects Candidate should have hands-on experience related to Roadway / Highway Design including Road Geometry, Junction Design and Road Signages Markings and Design Codes such as Euro Code/ DMRB/AASHTO/ any other international standards Civil3D, OpenRoads and working knowledge of other related software like AutoTURN / VehicleTracking / Pathplanner, etc. Preparing Drawings in accordance with internationally recognized Standard Formats Working within tight Schedules Candidate should possess good command on tools such as AutoCAD / Microstation Candidate should possess an ability to understand project requirements, take directions from Senior Engineers and execute deliverables efficiently He / she should have an innovative bent of mind and should be able to generate new / effective solutions .

Refers to the field of engineering dealing with the analysis and design of structures that support or resist loads. Commonly involved in the design and assessment of Railway and Highway bridges for UK Middle East and Australia Region. Duties and Responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning, design and modification phase of projects. Performing assessment of bridges to National Highways and Network Rail Structural analysis and Design of Bridges and Viaduct Structures, Flyovers, Underpasses, Culverts and Retaining walls. Experience with bridge and related structural design schemes. Experience in road and/or rail projects with UK, Middle East and Australia projects. Excellent technical skills design. Able to correlate and interpret the data shared by supporting interdisciplinary teams. Problem solving skills, able to propose alternative solutions for problems encountered. Experience in complete life cycle of a design project within Highway/Railway environment. Able to work in a diverse team spread across different geographical locations. Able to provide guidance to Entry level Engineers. Able to work under minimum guidance / Supervision. Able to handle multiple projects and lead highly capable design teams. Understanding in various software packages ideally including MIDAS, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design, LUSAS with experience in Finite Element Analysis preferred. Qualifications Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK) or Progressing towards Chartership with relevant experience is Preferred 6+ years of design experience in structural Engineering Minimum 3+ years of experience working in the rail and road bridges and associated structural engineering schemes assessment to detailed design. Exposure to International standards such as Euro Code, British Standards, AASHTO, AREMA, DMRB and Australian Standards

Key Qualifications Education - Graduation - B.Tech/B.E. Civil or Post Graduation - M.Tech Water resources/ Environmental Engineering or Civil . Minimum 12+ years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment. Delivered at least four major projects for the US region in a lead role. Strong understanding of Design codes & Standard Construction Practices Achieved/ Started the Chartered or Incorporated Engineer professional status, or equivalent. Software Storm CADD, Civil Storm, Civil 3D, Open Roads(Drainage) , AutoCAD or MIcrostation, Infraworks and Navisworks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English), including technical report writing. Should have Project Management experience. Organized and proactive (self- starter). Position Overview: Principal Engineer (USA Road Drainage) - Design and 3D modelling for Design & Build and Highway projects with proficiency in various Autodesk/Bentley tools as mentioned in Mandatory Technical Skills. Will have to carry out design and production Roadway design, 3D Modelling, CAD production and quantities and should have work experience as Task Manager and should have led project team size of more than 10 at least once on various projects. Experience on projects at various stages concept, Preliminary, Detailed and construction support. Specific UK experience is most desirable. Essential Job Functions Good Experience in executing International Projects US (desirable), Middle East, UK and any other developed countries. Responsible for end-to-end project design and delivery for Roadway design related tasks; Preparation / Finalization of various roadway related drawings at various stages of projects. Ability to understand existing condition reports and surveys. Preparation of design reports. Computation of quantities. Promote SHE good practice within team. Manage the performance and mentor team members, identifying and ensuring the resolution of any issues. Work collaboratively with other design disciplines within an agreed engineering management environment to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution. Provide technical advice to team members, to support them in their delivery on the project and in their professional development. Should have worked for UK Projects and must be conversant with DMRB specifications and standards. Mandatory Skills: Project Management, Design Management. Experience in MS Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Read, write and speaks -English.
