The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines, and a strong background in Groovy scripting. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated build and deployment processes to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our software products. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines : Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using Jenkins. Groovy Scripting: Write and maintain Groovy scripts to automate various tasks within the Jenkins environment. Automation and Optimization: Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of build and deployment processes. Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable software releases. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability and efficiency. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for CI/CD processes and Groovy scripts. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in Groovy Scripting: Strong experience in writing and debugging Groovy scripts. Jenkins Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Jenkins, including pipelines as code (Jenkinsfile), plugins, and job configurations. CI/CD Best Practices: Understanding of CI/CD principles, tools, and best practices. Version Control Systems: Experience with version control systems like Git. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Other Scripting Languages: Familiarity with other scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting. Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Containerization: Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile development environments. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
