Divisional Manager, Technology UI/UX

As a Divisional Manager, Technology at Global Schools Group (GSG) in India, your primary responsibility will be to build intuitive and engaging user experiences. You will play a crucial role in driving high-quality design outcomes, facilitating the product vision through research and user-testing efforts, and making strategic design decisions for core features and new functionalities. Your focus will be on advocating for a user-centered design approach within cross-functional teams, with an emphasis on usability, minimalism, and simplicity. You will be expected to translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final products that result in intuitive user experiences. By designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimized for newly developed applications, you will help identify design problems early and create elegant solutions. Rapid testing and iteration of designs based on user feedback and usability testing outcomes will be a key part of your role. Collaboration with other designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders is essential to create cohesive and scalable design solutions. Encouraging open discussion, constructive feedback, and team-wide problem-solving around UX/UI challenges will be part of your people-focused approach. You will optimize user journeys and experiences to enhance client satisfaction and retention, positively impacting revenue growth. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of professional experience, including proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or in a similar role. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision is required, along with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, experience in user research and usability testing, and strong collaboration skills are also necessary for success in this role. This is a full-time position with 5.5 working days per week, based on-site in India.
