The Securities & Derivatives Rep 5 position entails processing orders and transactions from trading desks and branch offices in collaboration with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The primary responsibility is to support in the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and implement process improvements for securities and derivatives settlement using data analysis tools. - Prior experience in Income/Corp Action processing or Capital Markets is preferred. - Must have knowledge of Dividends/Interest and their role in the Investment world. - Perform operational tasks related to administering procedures, analyses, and report preparation. - Possess extensive knowledge of products including Equities, fixed income, fed securities & Mortgage-backed securities. - Analyze data to suggest new products/services or platform upgrades. - Monitor errors to minimize risks, ensure compliance with audit and control policies. - Identify policy gaps and propose enhancements to streamline settlement processes. - Evaluate processes and data to ensure accuracy and quality of settlement tasks. - Maintain a deep understanding of team collaboration and task accomplishment. - Assess risks in business decisions with a focus on compliance and ethical conduct. Qualifications: - 2-4 years of relevant experience in Income/Corp Action processing or Capital Markets. - Fundamental knowledge of securities/derivatives activities, policies, and procedures. - Strong operational knowledge of Securities Operations for US and Non-US securities. - Analytical nature required for engagement in Transaction processing (Night Shift). - Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal. Education: - Graduate from a reputed university or Postgraduate/master's degree in any discipline.
