About the role: Knowledge of safety system and preventive measures during high voltage testing In-process testing of Transformers and Reactors Performing routine, type, and special tests on transformers/reactors according to IS/IEC/IEEE standards Knowledge and hands on experience of Lightning/Switching Impulse and Partial Discharge testing Handling customer inspections independently Knowhow of NABL requirements according to ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 Testing of Control Panels Inspection at supplier end Panel accessories fitting at factory Panel testing after fitting of all accessories during final testing in presence of customer. To follow the NCR Management system analysis and its timely compliance. Implementation of CAPA measures. Responsibilities:- Product design in single and three phase Dry Type transformers (CRT & VPI) between 1 kVA and 3150 kVA up to 33kV Class Design meeting requirements of latest IEC/ IS / ANSI / OEM applications & and standards. Preparation of technical specifications, and data sheets for Tenders/ enquires. Estimation and costing for tenders / special application transformers/export inquiries. Collaborate with other departments to establish product concepts, perform design verifications, carry ideas through final product design, and respond quickly to design change requests Develop and implement design improvements to enhance or cost-reduce existing dry-type transformer designs using various standards Manage multiple projects and priorities to meet established deadlines. Active involvement in the production and quality activities to ensure the best product quality in the Casting / Varnish impregnation process. Analyzing the root causes of the problems and initiating corrective and preventive actions. Checking of Mechanical drawings for production release. Skills Required:- 2+ years of experience in designing Dry-type transformers. To prepare customers' days and manufacturing days for transformers as per plan. Coordinate with customers, sales, and commercials. BE / Diploma in Electrical.
