The Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM)-East position at a reputed FMCG brand in Kolkata requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 15-18 years of experience in general trade functions within FMCG organizations. The ideal candidate should have spent the last 5 years as a ZSM/AZSM/RSM, overseeing operations in at least 4-5 East India states. While exposure to the confectionery industry is beneficial, it is not mandatory for this role. A successful candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of the East Indian market and have experience working with national/regional push brands. The individual should have a track record of career progression within the same organization, ideally moving up from ASM to ARSM to RSM roles. Moreover, they should have demonstrated their ability to build and lead a high-performing sales team and distribution infrastructure to support the company's growth in East India. The role entails significant travel, requiring the Zonal Sales Manager to be on the move for at least 10-12 days a month across East India. The position is based in Kolkata and is a full-time opportunity. A graduate degree is a minimum educational requirement, while an MBA is considered an added advantage but not mandatory for this role.
