Distributed SQL Database Cloud DBA admin/dev/architect expert

You will play a crucial role as a Cloud Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in MySQL, Aurora, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, HBase, and Elastic Search, focusing on cloud-native DB solutions such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, deploying, and managing Distributed SQL Database cluster solutions in cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and performance. - Migrating complex workloads from various RDBMS platforms to Distributed SQL Database solutions. - Analyzing and optimizing Distributed SQL Database solutions for performance, scalability, and system reliability. - Supporting sales in pre-sales activities, including customer discovery, technical demos, architecture reviews, and PoCs. - Articulating technical advantages and trade-offs of Distributed SQL Database solutions to align with customers" business needs and technical stack. - Delivering feedback from the field to influence overall strategy and roadmap. - Assisting customers in designing solutions aligned with cloud architecture best practices. - Creating technical documentation, whitepapers, and architecture diagrams for internal and customer use. - Staying current with the latest trends in distributed systems and Distributed SQL Database solutions. - Helping define and improve internal tools, processes, and operational runbooks. Qualifications Required: - 12+ years of hands-on DBA experience in MySQL, Aurora, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, HBase, Elastic Search, and other relational databases. - 7+ years of experience in cloud database deployment and operations across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. - 5+ years of experience with distributed SQL databases (e.g., CockroachDB, YugabyteDB, SingleStore). - Experience in customer-facing technical roles or supporting sales cycles. - Strong understanding of distributed systems, replication protocols, query optimization, and sharding. - Ability to engage with enterprise customers, understanding their pain points, and translating them into scalable data solutions. - Solid background in infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and automation tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, etc.). - Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and visual). Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred: - Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Database Specialty, Azure Database Administrator, etc.). - Experience in technical pre-sales, proof-of-concept delivery, or solution architecture. - Contributions to open source distributed SQL databases or related technologies.,
