Experience in quality control and regulatory compliance is essential, along with strong leadership and staff management skills. Knowledge of safety standards and maintenance scheduling is also crucial. You should have the ability to devise and execute production strategies effectively. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills are highly valued in this role. While a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or a related field is preferred, experience in the distillery or beverage industry is considered a plus.
