Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a skilled Hardware Application Engineer to provide technical expertise, trainings, and support for customer products. As a Hardware Application Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and exceed customer needs by designing, debugging, testing, and ensuring product quality. Your role will involve contributing to the development of next-generation experiences and enabling a connected future for all. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 1+ years of experience or a PhD in a related field is also accepted. As an IOT Applications Engineering Senior Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be responsible for assisting customers in designing IoT solutions using Qualcomm hardware and software. Your duties will include supporting hardware design sign-offs, system debugging, and ownership of design collaterals to facilitate faster product launches. A strong understanding of Digital/baseband HW design, PCB design, power management, and high-speed digital interfaces is required for this role. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and measurement tools, along with knowledge of ARM processors, JTAG emulators, display drivers, and memory systems. Familiarity with reviewing schematics, suggesting improvements, and reviewing PCB layouts in CAD tools is essential. Additionally, the ability to interact with customers and stakeholders globally is desired. In this role, you will be responsible for creating chip and chipset documentation, reference schematics, and training materials for customer support. You will participate in hardware design reviews, address technical queries, and troubleshoot designs at various levels. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in hardware, digital/high speed/power management, and Silicon validation is required.
